Beach, bench, relationship

The sunny day in late spring is not very hot like in summer time. The essence of summer is already in the air. The sun is shining from a different angle, much more like the summer time angle. The trees are already green after the winter but it's still too cold for the mass of people to come to the beach. So there are a couple of joggers running down the coast and some people walking with their dogs.

Anna was sitting on the end of the bench on the beach. The beach is very long and there is no one near her only the joggers run behind her time from time but she can't see them because the bench that she is sitting on is very close to the water so they run behind her and she can only hear them. But she is not interested in what is happening behind her. She looks at the water. She loves sea. It has always been a part of her life. All her problems were in it as well as joys.

She thinks about life. She always thinks how did she end up like this, here? No she is not sorry for her life, she is pretty happy with it, she wouldn't want to change a thing. Being single may seem unhappy at first glance but it is also an opportunity. An opportunity to meet some one new. May be he will be interesting. May be he will be the one for her. She was always annoyed by her friends and parents saying that it's hard to find someone good for you. And that she has to think about that she is not married and not seeing anyone regularly. She didn't live the regular life.

Men in her life come in periods. She becomes interested in someone she lives with it, enjoys it, uses it, regrets it. She has been in several relationships for past year and she likes to recall it sometimes and play the memories in her mind to relive the experience and catch a bit of joy for her self before it ends. In moments like this a slight smile appears on her beautiful lips.

There is one man on her mind now. She doesn't know his name. She met him on the internet last night. She talked with him the night away till she fell asleep. They didn't exchange numbers or even names. But their conversation gave her enough to become interested in him. The way he made her laugh and say crazy things, made her open the most secrete things on her mind. But she is not ashamed of it, she likes it. There is definitely a connection between them. She just hopes that he woun't disappoint her.

And she has been disappointed. A few times in her life she found her self lying on the floor of her apartment crying. Though she doesn't want to be disappointed again, she likes to meet people and get involved with someone who she finds her self attracted to. However it doesn't always comes to get involved. It rarely does. She does meet a lot of interesting people on the internet but she rarely meets them in real life. She was attracted to the people whom she was involved with for past time. And they were definitely attracted to her.

Anna is beautiful.

She is very natural, classic and alternative at the same time.
Natural by body, classic by the way that she moves and alternative by the way that she dresses.

A young man in jeans jacket sits on the opposite side of the bench from her. He looks in the other way from her. In the city direction. Anna can see him with the corner of her eye. Is it him? The man with whom she spend the night laughing. Why doesn't he say something if it's him?

The man just sits and looks at the sea and the city.

No it's definitely not him. He would of said something.

"The city looks bigger from here" - says the man - "don't you think?"

He is still looking at the city like he is not talking to her.

"How did you find me?"-says Anna.
"Ah! ... Yesterday you said that you were going to go for a walk on the beach..."-he answers and turns to her and looks her in the eyes.
"Yes" - she also looks at him.
".. the beach is just a line that goes on the edge of the sea..."-he looks at the sea - "... so I just walked this line until I came to you. "

It felt so easy and obvious and natural that she couldn't help smiling. The connection between them becomes also obvious and natural. She feels that this is definitely the right man for her. In this shirt time since they met he has came closer to her than anyone yet.

They hug. Rays of warm sun are playing in her beautiful blue eyes. The warm feeling of happiness and start of something new and exiting overwhelms her. They sit like this enjoying the sun and each others company. There is a lot that she would like to tell him now about that all the other men that she had before him were just a way to spend time waiting for him. But she felt that there will be plenty of time for them to talk later. Right now all that she wanted was to lay like this on his shoulder and enjoy the sun and the sea...

City, sea, Jesus

I love My City. Especially now, always something new is developed. Sometimes when I haven't been in certain place for some time - something new appears there, an apartment building or a mall, but still, it's very interesting, are we becoming a Future? The city sites had always been close to me, much more closer than nature sites, I mean, I like green grass and flying birds but city is just closer to me, especially a city with the sea. I like to watch traffic stuck on the road, I like to watch people rushing through masses of other people or just shopping.

I also have my own special places in the city. It's just some places where I like to sit or stand for a while and look around, usually it's a big window somewhere in the mall in the center just above the road. I love it so much. I sit and watch how cars fly just 2 meters under me and then stop on the traffic lights, how people walk cross the road and jump away shocked from the car that drives through the puddle.

I associate the traffic flows with one of the nature's elements. Which is true - even the smallest car has at least 40 horse powers in it. And elements is something that has always attracted me.

Sea - is probably the most amazing thing on earth. Not even the coolest song or a movie can compare to the smoothness and power of the sea. And I'm not talking about the summer time sea with beach overloaded with grannies and children. I am talking about the empty beach on a windy day and the sea is not calm. That's when you understand what kind of power it is!

When waves almost reach the near the sea road, when the wind is so strong that a sea gull hangs in the air 2 meters above the sea looking for fish, and you feel like you can almost hang above the beach just like that. But the most interesting is that if you plunge in on a day like this you will find that it's calmness and silence there and everything is in slow motion and the world above you will seem different from here.

The sea and the traffic on the roads are very similar. The traffic lights stop and let trough the flow of the cars so it's just like waves of the sea. And if you stand near the road it's very noisy but when you get inside the car it's calmness and silence just like underwater.

And in my special places in the city I clearly see it. I'm sitting behind the glass, nothing influences me. I'm there and not there at the same time. It's a bit like being invisible. Everyone wanted to be invisible at least once when they were kids. Just to stand naked in the middle of rushing crowd and be untouched, unnoticed, uninfluenced... and smile the way that Jesus smiles to a child...
